I thought I could sing this song for 25+years until it tried with a karaoke track this year. It’s the hardest freaking song I’ve ever tried to sing. And I’m a male who would rather do Liza Minelli’s version of Cabaret or Patsy Cline’s Crazy for a crowd than this Beast. It is so hard. It is so fucking hard to sing. Your take was very well done.

It's so bad lol. Everybody thinks they are stars nowadays. There are some really talented artists on RUclips covering this song. You can tell their real talent because they do it live with no mic.

I'm an older guy (51) and picked up guitar and was starting to learn before having some medical stuff happen. In a nutshell, I had two surgeries on my left wrist and elbow that affect my hand strength and sensation-- De Quervain's Tendon Release and a Cubital Tunnel Syndrome Nerve Entrapment Release. I had no strength or sensation along my pinky and ring finger, and they were curling into the palm. I didn't have the strength to reach over and turn the lamp off with my fretting hand. Sensations are coming back after the surgery now months later, but my finger strength is weak-- definitely when fretting with my ring finger and especially with my pinky finger. My pinky (the first digit of it) actually bows back / hyper-extends when I try to fret a string. Any finger strength building exercises you'd recommend to make fretting easier, to work on building a good sound? Like playing a C chord... pointer on the A at the 3rd fret, middle on the D at the 2nd fret, ring finger on the B string at the 3rd fret, and pinky on the e string at the 3rd fret, strumming strings 2-6... the e string and sometimes the B string sound as though I'm smacking a school of salmon. Does it just come with time or is there something I can do to help myself. Any feedback is appreciated.
